This set would be perfect to complement a French WWII infantryman’s uniform in your collection.
The leather of the belt and pouches shows heavy wear, but is all still pliable without any dry rot to speak of. The suspenders are even in good shape with some rubbing and crazing but no cracking to speak of. There are scattered faint markings across the leather pieces.
The canvas haversack shows heavy wear with crazing to the straps and some tearing in the canvas. The ammunition haversack is in better condition but still has tearing in the canvas. The hooks and metal fittings are oxidized but are still functional.
